How to Get Started

Getting started with the Lome Zapier Integration is straightforward and user-friendly. Follow these simple steps to set up your first "Zap" (an automated workflow):

1. Create a Lome Account: If you haven't already, sign up for a Lome account on our website.

2. Connect Lome to Zapier: In Lome, go to the main menu, then click Settings and then API. Click to Generate an API Secret if you don't already have one. You'll then see options to connect with Zapier appear below.

3. Set Up Your First Zap: Choose a trigger (e.g., a new response on Lome) and an action (e.g., send a message on Slack). Customize the workflow to fit your needs and activate the Zap. Learn about the different triggers and actions below.

Trigger: New Response

When someone signs up on your sign up form, a New Response will trigger in Zapier.

Trigger: New Community Response

When someone signs up on your sign up form in a Community you choose, a New Community Response will trigger in Zapier. This lets you choose different behavior for different Communities.

Create Community

If you don't have one already, make sure you create your Community in Lome first - there's a link on your Home dashboard to Create Community.

Choose Community in Zapier

When creating your Trigger, you'll see a dropdown list to select your Community.

Trigger: New Community

When you create a new Community in Lome, this trigger will fire in Zapier.

Create Community

If you don't have one already, make sure you create your Community in Lome first - there's a link on your Home dashboard to Create Community.

Action: Contact Created

When you create a Contact inside your CRM or other app, you can use this Zapier Action to make sure the Contact gets created in your Lome Address Book.

Data Structure

There is a very simple data structure to create a Contact in Lome:

Note that EITHER email or phone is required, you don't need both.

Address Book

After your trigger is complete and connected to the Contact Created action in Lome, you'll see the new contact in your Lome Address Book
