2026 Tall Oaks Estates Volunteer Opportunities

This person will water the 4 flower pots at the main entrance twice per week from June through October unless there is significant rain (in excess of 1/2 inch) during a given week. At the direction of the Landscaping Director, they may also be asked to water annual plantings in the flower beds or increase the frequency of watering during extreme heat or dry periods.

This team will survey the neighborhood looking for yards that are not in compliance with our Rules & Regulations, either together or independently coordinating coverage dates with each other. This may include uncut lawns, excessive weeds, dead/diseased trees, and unkempt landscaping. This will be done weekly from May through June, and then twice per month July through October. Questions will be directed to the Landscaping Director. Observed violations will be reported (anonymously, if desired) via the Witness Violation Complaint form on talloaksestates.org.

From April through October, monitor 1 assigned cul de sac island twice per month, looking for weeds and trash around the perimeter, pull and clean up as needed.

This role serves as an advisor to the Board of Directors with a goal of helping to streamline work and processes that the Board performs. The Advisor will attend quarterly Board meetings for the year, make suggestions to improve efficiency of the Board's work, and take on special projects to research and/or implement solutions.

Assist the Treasurer with bookkeeping tasks as needed, acting as a backup for billing and expense processing using Quickbooks. This may include annual HOA dues invoicing and collections, contractor payments, expense reimbursements, etc.

The purpose of this role is to act as a conduit between the HOA and buyer's real estate agents and/or attorneys when a home in the neighborhood is sold. This consists of working with the Treasurer to deliver account status to the buyer's attorney, including any outstanding invoices, fines, leins, etc. They will also be responsible for answering any questions and delivering HOA Bylaws and Rules & Regulations to the buyer.

Assist the Communications Director in managing the HOA website with option to take over in 2027.
